Since I knocked that commission out of the way, all I have left to do is enter =Ribbontail's contest.

SO was wondering if any of you guys were up for a contest? And PLEASE don't say you'll enter if you know you won't. I've had a few past contests where only 2-4 people entered, so I don't want to have to cancel a contest again and have the people who did bother to enter get squat. :/

On one of my newer polls I asked 'What do you want to see more from me?' And one of my pals said to draw emotional art, straight from the soul. ...but I don't get it.

I never have.
I have never connected emotion and art. I just can't.
All through dA you can see pictures tagged as 'vents' and 'ersonal art'.

See, the only reason I draw at all is simply because I'm bored and use drawing a sort of a 'boredom reducer'. Never as therapy or to vent rage; just to entertain myself when a Tv or friend isn't around to watch/talk to.

People at school would walk up and ask "What was your inspiration for that? -points to random drawing-" and I'd reply "Nothing..."
Then they'd get their panties in a wad because they think I'm hiding something or supressing some deep emotion. But I'm not, I just couldn't take the damn teachers nonsense yammering anymore and had to distract myself before my head melted cause my thoughts stopped.

But then I join a guild in Neopets where people draw, so I thought well people irl like my scribble crap, might as well improve. Then I bought a tablet, got photoshop, joined deviantArt and have now become the idiot you see before you, yapping about how she apparently has a black hole for a heart because she can't connect emotion with art/music/movies/books and so on...

And to take it as far as selling myself out, I posted this as an experiment to see what people took it as, heck I even thought up a crappy little poem to go with it! D;
And look, everyone thought 'something was wrong'. :U

So PLEASE, someone explain something to me about this vent/personal/emotional art crud so I can at least get some kinda opinion about it.

Originaly based off of Green Day drummer, Tre Cool, his design and character have grown and atatched to me like glue. <3
