Hornbills are frightening. Those beaks can definitely take an eye out. At our zoo (small and pathetic) we have a pair of hornbills and a few years ago one of our group got to go in the cage. They kept trying to eat his shoelace. DX
Neat character, definitely different. Thats what the world of DeviantArt needs now, differentiality.

Great reference, though. It's grand to finally see what this hornbill fellow really looks like. You have quite a talent for piecing together animals, all the while making them seem believable. Whenever I mix animals they end up freakish and deformed, like NeoRibbontail or ParasiteX. Yikes!
Anywho, I think he's got a great little design. A cute body structure, an interesting set of traits, and an even better voice to back everything up. It's nice to see somebody else who has the time to do "inner listening" to give their characters voices... that's something very few people consider when making a character. I just hope Imba doesn't spit curses every other words like this Williams fellow. Oh my...
I have a question, hehee! I was wondering if he walks primarily on his hind legs, or if he's a quadruped creature? He looks as though he could be either, but I was just curious. :3
